Having welcomed travelers for more than 200 years, the Inn’s guest rooms exude years of character paired with a certain warmth and charm. With a taste for the old combined with today’s necessary amenities, the Inn's 25 individually decorated guest rooms sparkle with new color. Many rooms have recently been completely renovated. Enjoy the gentle sophistication of colorful paisleys, robust tartans and rich florals against the backdrop of a quintessential Vermont village. Several rooms exist within the Inn's original two hundred year old footprint with views of the town green from their perch on our second and third floor. All of our guest accommodations are equipped with televisions, telephones, air conditioning and wireless internet access.

Six of our guest rooms are two room luxury suites each with individualized appointments. They are elegant yet comfortable. Think of handsome wallpapers…worn wood flooring… handmade solid wood furniture…rich Oriental rugs. The large sitting rooms are adorned with gas fireplaces (except Woodlawn), comfy sofas and chairs for lounging and flat screen televisions. The large bathrooms feature heated marble floors, whirlpool tubs for two and tiled walk-in showers (some with steam showers), Dorset Inn bathrobes and English toiletries. Oversized king beds with plush custom bedding anchor the bedroom and there is an additional flat screen television, CD player and ample storage.
